Our Pentwater cottage rentals are a short distance to many area attractions; several are within walking or biking distance to Pentwater's quaint downtown Hancock St. with it's many stores, galleries and restaurants ending at the Charles Mears State Park, named by the Chicago Tribune as one of the ten best beaches on Lake Michigan. While visiting the area, be sure to check out the many Pentwater hometown festivals as well as the Silver Lake festivals and spectacular sand dunes. Walking or driving the Silver Lake Sand Dunes is great family fun. Rent a sand rail or ride along with others on the famous Mac Woods Dune Rides. Visit the three lighthouses and their great beaches within a one hour drive of each other; White Lake, Little Sable Point and Big Sable Point. Also, a short 30 minute drive south will take you to Cedar Point's Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park. From horse back riding, go cart tracks, miniature golf, bike riding, Michigan wineries to the simple pleasure of walking on the beautiful Lake Michigan shore, the surrounding communities have something for everyone.
